Słuchawki HP-580 są typowymi słuchawkami monitoringowymi nastawionymi na detaliczność przekazu. Cechują się czystym i naturalnym dźwiękiem. Dzięki półotwartej budowie potrafią zbudować obszerną scenę muzyczną a użycie 50mm przetworników pozwoliło zachować odpowiednią podbudowę basową. Sprawdzają się doskonale zarówno w muzyce, filmach jak i grach komputerowych. Dzięki dużej detaliczności i scenie dobrze oddają efekty przestrzenne. Słuchawki są lekkie a przy tym trwałe. Opaska obejmująca głowę automatycznie dopasowuje się do jej wielkości. Kabel doprowadzony jest do jednego z przetworników i zakończony jest wtyczką typu konwertowalnego – na stałe zamontowany jest wtyk 3,5mm a na niego nakręcana może być przejściówka na wtyk o średnicy 6,5mm.
